Magellan Rx – Prescription Program
The prescription drug benefit attached to the medical plan will provide you access to a retail pharmacy network managed by Magellan Rx Management.
- A drug formulary is a list of covered drugs and each pharmacy benefit manager (like Magellan) has their own formulary.
- On Magellan Rx’s formulary, specific cost tiers are assigned to each category of covered drug – generic, preferred, and non-preferred.
- Be sure to check the Magellan Rx formulary for any prescription drugs that you currently take to ensure that they are covered
- Pharmacies that are in network include Brattleboro Pharmacy, Hotel Pharmacy, Walgreens, Rite Aid and Walmart. You can view a full list of in-network providers on Magellan Rx’s member portal website.
